Letter and Poem to William Robson from W P Andrews,

Moonlight and Memory

Good night, Dear Friends,
your song and friendship made it,
Sweet Capri night, a joy that never ends,
aloft your light repeats,
where love delayed it,
'Good night, Dear Friends'.

The Sunset Glory with the dark contends;
Too soon grey palls would
threaten and invade it:
But light departs not where
the sun descends.

The moon and stars have
caught the night and stayed it;
Their splendid memory
with the dark wave blends;
As from the height your light
smiled down and said it;
'Good night, Dear Friends'.

Moonlight and Memory
Dear Robson,
Some night when the 'bonds of friendship get tighter as they grow wet' add to your many kindnesses by reading to the Club this little Good by word from me. The result of watching your light that night at Rossettis when we had the dinner with Lorenzo and talked of the sunset
With kindest love and remembrances to you all,
Affectionately yours,
Wm P Andrews
