Transport of Smolts and Parr ~
A method of effectively transporting smolts past obstacles to avoid turbine damage and natural predation on their migration to the sea and assisting returning adults over man made obstacles and past yet more predation is integral to the project.
 
 
                             
 
 
A suitable van fitted with a fish transportation tank and an oxygen delivery system would, alongside smolt and adult traps at the dams, allow the 'taxi' transport system to operate effectively.

The funding required amounts to £5,000
